Free is for a focused first setup

Free includes one device and one profile, 10 starter sites selected for the profile’s age range, and up to 10 sites you add. A guardian account and internet connection are required for setup and configuration sync. Free does not include schedules, activity history, or email request approvals.

Family is for a household

Family is $49.99/year. It supports up to five Windows devices and five profiles, unlimited custom sites, schedules, email approval requests, browser-lock controls, activity history, and shared cloud configuration. See the Family plan features and how to set it up .

Labs scales in five-seat increments

Labs supports 5–50 device seats, billed annually, starting at $14.99 per device/year. Devices are added in increments of five. Volume discounts are applied automatically as capacity increases, and Stripe shows the complete amount before checkout.

Is the Free plan a trial?
No. Free has no time limit and does not require a credit card. It includes one Windows device, one profile, 10 age-range starter sites, up to 10 custom sites, and basic dashboard configuration.
What does Family add?
Family supports up to five Windows devices and five profiles, unlimited custom sites, schedules, browser-lock controls, email site and time requests, activity history, and cloud-managed configuration.
How is Labs pricing calculated?
Labs starts at five device seats and is billed annually, starting at $14.99 per device/year before volume discounts. Capacity is selected in five-seat increments and Stripe shows the total before payment.
Who manages application updates?
Microsoft Store delivers the Windows application and its updates. Intune administrators can assign and monitor the Store app; update timing depends on Windows and organization policy.
What happens after cancellation?
Cancellation stops the next renewal, and paid access continues through the current billing period. Payments are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. The organization moves to Free when paid access ends.
