These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Kidsplorer (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Kidsplorer on behalf of a household, school, library, or organization, you confirm you have authority to do so.
1. Service scope
Kidsplorer provides a whitelist-only browser application for children, managed by parents or administrators. The Service includes the browser application installed on computers, the parent portal, and (for institutional accounts) the admin dashboard.
You are responsible for configuring the whitelist, schedule, and device settings appropriately for the children in your care.
2. Accounts and security
Parent and administrator accounts:
- You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account, including whitelist changes and device assignments.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at
support@kidsplorer.com.
Child profiles:
- Child profiles must be created and managed by a parent or authorized guardian.
- You confirm that any child profiles you create are for children in your care.
- Kidsplorer is designed to comply with COPPA. You are responsible for ensuring your use of Kidsplorer complies with applicable laws governing children’s internet access in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use

- violate laws or regulations;
- circumvent the whitelist or tamper-resistance features to provide unrestricted internet access to children;
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract Kidsplorer’s source code;
- upload deceptive, harmful, or malicious content;
- bypass plan, rate, or security controls;
- interfere with operation of the Service.
We may suspend access for violations.
4. Plans, billing, and limits
- Subscriptions are billed annually in advance and renew automatically until canceled.
- Device limits are enforced per plan tier.
- Upgrades apply immediately. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.
- Taxes may apply based on jurisdiction.

5. Institutional trial
Institutional plans include a 30-day free trial. During the trial you have full access to all plan features for your selected tier. After 30 days, the account requires a paid subscription to continue operating.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if:
- you violate these Terms;
- your usage creates legal, security, or operational risk;
- required fees remain unpaid past the grace period.
You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We may add, modify, or discontinue features. We will post updates when material changes affect use of the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Kidsplorer’s tamper-resistance features are designed for children ages 6–12 on non-administrator accounts. We do not guarantee that Kidsplorer cannot be circumvented by users with administrator access or advanced technical knowledge.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kidsplorer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
